Recorded at 8:41 a.m., the quake was initially tracked as a 5.2 magnitude earthquake, but officials from Natural Resouces Canada later downgraded it to a 4.7 Thursday afternoon. The main area of the earthquake was between Grande Prairie and Grande Cache, and was approximately 7.1 km deep, according to Natural Resources Canada.
