MILAN (AP) — Alysa Liu had the opportunity to cherish skating on the same Olympic ice where she won two gold medals one more time. Ilia Malinin had the chance to replace some disappointing memories with much better ones.

United States figure skater Alysa Liu took center stage in the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics for one final time on Saturday. The newly crowned women’s free skate gold medalist performed in the Figure Skating Exhibition Gala alongside some of the top skaters in the Winter Games.

Alysa Liu will leave the Milan Cortina Games to train for the upcoming World Figure Skating Championships in March, where she will aim to defend her title.
