The Yankees are now one game back of the Blue Jays in the AL East. It was their first four-game sweep in Toronto in franchise history.

The New York Yankees are struggling and, after being swept by the Blue Jays and losing their AL East lead, starting pitcher Clarke Schmidt basically told everyone that Aaron Boone is to blame.

Following a leadoff walk by Nathan Lukes in the bottom of the 10th inning to put runners on first and second, third baseman Ernie Clement was called on to drop a sacrifice bunt to move the winning run to third base. It ended up working out better than anybody could have possibly anticipated.

The Yankees entered Thursday having posted a 3-9 record against division rivals since June 6, and they were 10-15 overall against the East.
