Police identified a 73-year-old man from Elizabeth as the worker who died on Tuesday afternoon from an industrial accident in Clifton.

Police in Passaic County on Wednesday identified a man crushed to death by machinery in a recycling plant a day earlier as an Elizabeth resident employed at the facility. Jose D. Centeno, 73, was apparently crushed beneath a hydraulic baling machine during work hours.
