Kansas basketball coach Bill Self was released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Saturday, two days after having two stents inserted to treat blocked arteries.

After a scary health incident a few days ago, Kansas' Bill Self appears to be on the mend. On Thursday night, reports surfaced that the Jayhawks coach had been hospitalized due to "some concerning symptoms" and later had to have two stents inserted into his heart.

After a heart procedure earlier this week, Kansas basketball head coach Bill Self has been released from the hospital.
