All-Pro return man KaVontae Turpin of the Cowboys was arrested in a Dallas suburb on misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession and unlawful carrying of a weapon, authorities said Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver and All-Pro kick returner KaVontae Turpin was arrested and booked into Collin County Jail on Sunday, according to court records. Turpin, 28, was booked and charged initially with two misdemeanors: possession of marijuana (less than two ounces) and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
