There has been a major hiccup in the Seattle Mariners organization with the injury of star pitcher Logan Gilbert. Gilbert was placed on the 15-day injury list on Saturday after sustaining a right elbow flexor strain after throwing just 29 pitches against the Miami Marlins on Friday.

Jorge Polanco and Otto Lopez will be among the star attractions when the Seattle Mariners face the Miami Marlins on Sunday at 4:10 p.m. ET, at T-Mobile Park. The Mariners rank 18th in the majors with a .236 batting average. The Marlins rank fifth in MLB with a .256 team batting average.
