Winner of back-to-back NCAA lacrosse titles, Notre Dame is coming off a 14-12 loss to Syracuse in the ACC Tournament semifinals on May 2.

Northwestern was rewarded with the No. 3 seed on Selection Sunday, giving the 'Cats a first-round bye and a top four seed for the sixth tournament in a row.
