The NFL revealed its record seven international games Tuesday and the Minnesota Vikings will play games in consecutive weeks in Ireland and Britain.

The NFL played its first game outside of the United States in 2005 as the Cardinals took on the 49ers. This led the league to develop an International Series, which had at least one game played outside of the U.

The NFL will travel the world during the 2025-26 season. The league unveiled its complete international schedule on Tuesday, finalizing matchups for seven games that will take place in five different countries including Ireland, England, Germany, Spain and Brazil.

The Minnesota Vikings will be playing in Europe for back-to-back weeks in the 2025 NFL Season, again the Browns and Steelers.

The Minnesota Vikings' head coach Kevin O'Connell believes NFL fans and newcomers to the sport in Ireland will be seeing the best wide receiver "on the planet" in Justin Jefferson when his side play in Dublin in September.

The NFL announced Tuesday the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland during Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season. Hours after the announcement, the Steelers released a video of head coach Mike Tomlin sharing what the game will mean to him. Because of the setting, it won’t be the typical Week 4 matchup in the league.

General Manager of the NFL U.K and Ireland Henry Hodgson says Dublin will be a "fantastic host city" for American football after it was confirmed that the Minnesota Vikings will be the Pittsburgh Steelers' opponents in the first ever NFL regular-season game to be held in Ireland in September.
