President Trump is expected to take a walking tour of a temporary migrant detention center being referred to as Alligator Alcatraz in South Florida.

The first group of immigrants are set to arrive at a new detention center deep in the Florida Everglades that officials have dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz.”

Trump campaigned on several promises to tackle illegal immigration but faces a shortage of detention beds. The One Big Beautiful Bill, Trump’s tax and spending plan, passed the Senate during his Florida stop and includes $150 billion for his deportation agenda over four years.
