Maine State Police have arrested a teenager in connection with the suspicious death of 48-year-old paddleboarder Sunshine Stewart, whose body was found on an island in Crawford Pond.

On Saturday, July 12, just before 7 p.m. local time, the young girl was seen “drifting further out” onto the Silver Lake Flat Reservoir in Utah County, prompting family member Daniel Braga Figueiredo to borrow a paddleboard so he could help her, the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Loved ones of Stewart are calling on people in the area to review any photos or videos taken near Crawford Pond around the Fourth of July weekend.
