Boston Celtics starting center Neemias Queta has been making strides on both ends of the court. And he has been putting in the work sharpening his skills in the pick and roll to make himself more of a threat on the offensive end of the court with Boston's backcourt players like Derrick White and Payton Pritchard.

Pritchard was a late addition to the injury report due to neck spasms, though he'll shed his questionable tag Monday. Over five games in December, the 27-year-old point guard has averaged 14.2 points, 6.0 assists and 4.2 rebounds in 32.2 minutes per contest.

Payton Pritchard was listed as questionable prior to tip-off with neck spasms, but he started alongside Jaylen Brown, Neemias Queta, Derrick White, and Jordan Walsh. The Eastern Conference-leading Pistons started Ausar Thompson, Tobias Harris, Jalen Duren, Duncan Robinson, and Cade Cunningham.

"I mean, we've always been a relatively knock-on-wood, a good taking care of the basketball team that helps us control the shot margin," said Mazzulla.

Forty-two points from Payton Pritchard and a Jaylen Brown triple-double powered the undermanned Celtics to a 117-115 win over the Cavaliers.

The Celtics were without two starters against the Cavaliers, but it didn't matter as they came away with an impressive victory.

Pritchard scored a season-high 42 points and Brown recorded a triple-double Sunday as the Celtics held off the Cavaliers.

Pritchard is questionable for Monday's game against Detroit due to neck spasms, Zack Cox of the Boston Herald reports.
