The Boston Red Sox confirmed that two fans were ejected from Fenway Park during Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins for shouting inappropriate comments at Miami Marlins' outfielder Dane Myers, per Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe.

Nate Eaton, a right-handed hitting infielder/outfielder on the Red Sox’ 40-man roster, is en route to Boston, according to multiple sources.

The Red Sox went into the ninth with a 3-2 lead, but Miami stormed back to earn a 5-3 win and avoid a sweep at Fenway Park.

The Red Sox may see some relief help arriving soon in the form of Justin Slaten, who is ramping up after being out since June 1 with a shoulder/neck injury. He threw his third bullpen on Friday and is scheduled for a live batting practice session on Monday. If all goes well, his next step would be another live BP or a rehab assignment.
