Federal authorities have arrested a man on charges he took part in a string of ATM robberies that nabbed more than $4 million in a monthslong spree that targeted dozens of institutions along the West Coast, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of California.

A fugitive member of a Chilean ATM robbery crew, suspected in a string of robberies in California, Oregon and Washington, was arrested in Orange County on Wednesday, authorities said.
