Houston Texans rookie defensive lineman Kyonte Hamilton reportedly went down with a serious injury during Wednesday's training camp practice. According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson of KPRC3, Hamilton's injury took place during team drills on Wednesday,

"Rookie DT Kyonte Hamilton is down on the ground in pain," ESPN Texans reporter DJ Biene-Aime reports on X. "Players have taken knees. It’s very quiet out here. All you hear is the wind blowing. There’s a cart out for him." Biene-Aime followed up shortly after that Hamilton was carted away and that it was a lower leg injury for the rookie.

On the team’s in house radio show last week, Houston Texans general manager Nick Caserio said that training camp doesn’t really begin until the first practice in pads. Up until Monday, the Texans had been solely practicing in jerseys and shorts,
