Tua Tagovailoa's visor could be here to stay
Apparently, that wasn't an issue. With the help of an effective run game, Tagovailoa carved up the Atlanta Falcons, finishing with four touchdowns, no interceptions, and a 138.6 passer rating in a 34-10 win. Now, it seems, the visor might be here to stay.
Last week, Tagovailoa was pulled from Miami's 31-6 loss to the Cleveland Browns after throwing three interceptions for the second consecutive week. This time around, he was pulled in favor of Zach Wilson late in the fourth quarter with the game already well in-hand.
Many have been disappointed in quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s play this season. He has thrown for 1,313 yards and 11 touchdowns, but his 10 interceptions are tied for the league lead alongside Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith. Tagovailoa was even benched in the 31-6 Week 7 loss to the Cleveland Browns after throwing his third pick.
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had an odd start to his Sunday. He woke up before the Dolphins’ Week 8 game against the Falcons, and his eye was swoll
The 2025 season has been rough for Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins. Sunday provided a therapeutic respite from those struggles.
