The USMNT fought its way back from a goal down for the second time this international break, only this time Mauricio Pochettino's side was rewarded with a 2-1 victory over Australia on Tuesday.

USA vs Australia will kick off at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT in the United States. The match will start at 7 p.m. local time in Commerce City, Colorado, at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. The match will be shown on select TV channels and on streaming services with commentary in English and Spanish.
In the first half, a Roldan shot from distance had Aussie keeper Mathew Ryan beat, but went just wide. A few minutes later, a corner fell to him in the box, and he narrowly missed a curling shot seemingly bound for the top right corner.
Jason Geria was the Australian defender who felled the USMNT’s star man, but he was keen to insist that it was not the result of a premeditated plan. “I wasn’t specifically going out to batter him up or anything,” the Albirex Niigata fullback told The Athletic.
The USMNT is undefeated after playing three teams that will play in the 2026 World Cup. The USMNT defeated Japan, drew against Ecuador, and defeated Australia. Pochettino's team will play two more friendlies before the end of the year to continue their World Cup preparations.
Is Mauricio Pochettino going to refine the dynamic of an impressive Starting XI from Friday's draw with Ecuador, or switch things up a bit when the USMNT hosts Australia on Tuesday in Colorado?
