It is going to be an interesting few weeks for Wisconsin basketball and one of its key players in 2025-26. John Blackwell announced on social media that he will enter the NBA Draft while maintaining his college eligibility.

Wisconsin forward Nolan Winter announced he will return to the Badgers for the 2025-26 season. Winter is coming off a breakout sophomore season where he averaged 9.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. The Badgers are hoping to pair Winter with star guard John Blackwell, who declared for the NBA draft while maintaining his college eligibility.
