Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar’s liver transplant went so well that he is being discharged from the hospital this afternoon instead of next month. Kosar had successful surgery last Monday and is so far ahead of schedule in his recovery that his doctors have cleared him for early release from the hospital.
One of those pieces centers on Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is one of the more polarizing players in sports outright for a variety of different reasons. The Chargers defense, though, did Rodgers so dirty on primetime during the 25-10 win that most probably feel for the Steelers quarterback.
The Steelers went on to score a garbage-time touchdown in the 25-10 road loss and fell to 5-4 on the season — putting them just one game up on the Ravens. Rodgers, 41, had a performance to forget, completing 16-of-31 attempts for 161 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, not to mention a passer rating of 50.6.
