A fire at a Bronx firehouse left at least 14 people with minor injuries. Two firefighters were taken to the hospital for treatment.
A fire was reported Friday morning at a Bronx firehouse, the FDNY said. The fire was reported around 6 a.m. on two floors of a two-story firehouse located on Briggs Avenue between East 200 and East 199th streets in the Bedford Park section.
Four people were killed, including a child, in a raging Queens fire Monday afternoon that had people leaping from the building in a desperate effort to escape the blaze, witnesses and the FDNY said.
