Update on Friday morning storms
Here is an update on the upcoming storms for our Friday morning tomorrow where we do have a chance for severe weather. The NWS is still showing a slight risk of severe weather for us in the Quad Cities with two separate lines of storms.
The steadiest precipitation is expected through 7 to 8 a.m., with spotty light drizzle or freezing drizzle possible later in the morning as clouds linger.
A few spotty showers and isolated rumbles are possible this evening and into tonight. However, all eyes are on Friday - a FIRST WARN WEATHER DAY — our highest alert for impactful weather.
