Hawaiian Airlines plans to replace its fleet of 19 Boeing 717s with Boeing 737-800 aircraft starting in 2027.
The aircraft will be repurposed from Alaska Airlines and will fly interisland passenger service and domestic cargo operations.
The carrier will inherit these jets from Alaska Airlines.
