Search teams found the wreckage of a Pan Am plane that crashed off Puerto Rico in 1952, resting 2,000 feet deep.

The wreckage of a Pan Am plane that crashed 74 years ago, and led to safety briefings becoming mandatory on flights, has been found off the coast of Puerto Rico.

According to the Air Sea Heritage Foundation, the Douglas DC-4 aircraft was found using high-resolution sonar on June 2, located almost 2,000 feet under the Atlantic Ocean, broken into two parts.
