Sherrill said NJ Transit service will stop running during the winter storm on Sunday, when heavy snow is forecast to bury the Tri-State Area.

New Jersey offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 26, due to the snowstorm that dropped up to a foot of snow in parts of the state.

NJ Transit and Amtrak riders will experience service disruptions and diversions on the nation's busiest passenger rail line.

NJ Transit will suspend service on Sunday as residents are warned to stay off the roads during the storm. Gov. Mikie Sherrill announced Saturday afternoon that all bus, light rail and Access Link service will be suspended as of 4 a.m. Sunday.
