Two trucks collided on the New Jersey Turnpike causing a fiery scene that shut down lanes of traffic and caused big delays.

The collision occurred about 2:15 a.m. in the southbound lanes near milepost 43.1, when a Freightliner hit the rear of a Volvo tractor-trailer, according to state police.
