US stock futures edged higher Sunday evening as Wall Street geared up for a pivotal week featuring the Federal Reserve’s expected rate cut, a barrage of Big Tech earnings, and a long-awaited meeting between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

US stock futures rose Sunday after US and Chinese representatives agreed on a framework for a trade deal, potentially averting a tariff hike to 157% on Chinese goods.

The 10-year Treasury yield ticked higher to 4.03%. And oil prices dipped, as West Texas Intermediate futures traded around $61.30 a barrel. Among exchange traded funds, the Invesco QQQ TrustQQQ was up 1.3%. Also, the SPDR S&P 500 ETFSPY moved up 0.8% ahead of Monday's market open.

Amazon is facing substantial headwinds this year, but the stock remains fundamentally sound with a “Strong Buy” rating. AWS, AI and ad sales continue to be major drivers for the Magnificent Seven stock.
