A police helicopter crashed Wednesday night, killing two people aboard, as authorities responded to an "active shooter," incident, authorities said.

Two Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers were killed while serving their community when their helicopter crashed in Flagstaff.

Before the helicopter crash, law enforcement officers were involved in a shooting with the active shooting suspect.
