NEW ORLEANS (AP) – The flow of natural gas, water and sand has been stopped at a drilling rig off Louisiana’s coast, the operator and federal regulators said Saturday. The flow stopped about 7 p.m.
The number of total oil and gas drilling rigs in the U.S. fell by 1 to 538, the count's 15th decline in 17 weeks after finishing flat a week ago, Baker Hughes said Friday in its latest weekly survey.
