Crews were working overnight to fight a wind-whipped fire on Neversink Mountain in Reading. The fire broke out after midnight and quickly spread. It was visible from miles away. Officials evacuated the 1300 block of Fairview Street due to the threat of the fire spreading there, and neighboring streets were put on alert as well.
