President Donald Trump has signed an executive order sanctioning the International Criminal Court (ICC), accusing the organization of engaging in “illegitimate and baseless actions” targeting the United States and its ally,

U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive order imposing sanctions on the International Criminal Court could jeopardize trials and investigations at the world’s only permanent global tribunal for war crimes and genocide.

The sanctions include freezing any U.S. assets of those designated and barring them and their families from visiting the United States.
