The wreckage of a Pan Am plane that crash-landed in 1952 was found off the coast of Puerto Rico last month. The crash led to preflight safety briefings becoming the norm on commercial flights.

The 1952 Clipper Endeavor was just found using an autonomous sonar drone nearly 70 years after the tragic crash left 52 passengers dead.

All aboard the plane initially survived the impact, but the tail section broke off, and the aircraft began flooding and sinking within three minutes.
