Real Madrid are finalising a deal for Xabi Alonso to become their new coach as soon as possible, multiple sources have told ESPN, with the club keen to have him in place for this summer's Club World Cup.

Departing Bayer Leverkusen manager, Xabi Alonso has gotten Real Madrid’s approval for three new signings. According to Madrid Zone (via Marca), Alonso has asked Real Madrid for the new signings in time before the FIFA Club World Cup starts in June and the Los Blancos has granted his request.
