NHL insider Dominic Tiano of Dom.Hockey.com has revealed the Oilers and Bruins are having chats about a possible trade involving former first-rounder Fabian Lysell.

The Boston Bruins goalie was one of 44 players invited to the men’s Olympic orientation camp Aug. 26-27 in Plymouth, Michigan.

Fabian Lysell was once seen as a bright piece of the Boston Bruins’ future. Drafted in the first round in 2021, he was praised for his speed, skill, and potential as a top-six forward.
