Officers responded to 9 Hannon St. in Mattapan around 11:59 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a 911 call reporting that the child was in cardiac arrest, police wrote in a report.

An adult man was shot and killed in Dorchester late Saturday night, Boston Police reported Sunday. At about 11 p.m., BPD said, officers responded to a radio call reporting a person shot around Blue Hill Avenue and Georgia Street in Dorchester.
