Storms left their mark on parts of Indiana. A line of severe weather swept through the Hoosier State Wednesday night, carving a trail of damage that left thousands of people without power. Strong winds brought down power lines and damaged buildings.

The fire, known as the 344 Fire, has been burning for days in the southern Miami-Dade County area south of Homestead and near the highway and ballooned to 26,400 acres on Friday while only remaining 30% contained, according to the Florida Forest Service.

With storms moving east Wednesday afternoon, the National Weather Service and Storm Prediction Center have issued a Tornado Watch for portions of Central Indiana until 10 p.m. The shaded counties
