Free agent center DeAndre Jordan is signing a one-year, $3.6 million deal with the Pelicans, his agent told ESPN.

The Boston Celtics (0-3) travel to Smoothie King Center to face the New Orleans Pelicans (0-2) in NBA action on Monday night.

ESPN's Shams Charania reported the Pelicans signed Jordan to a one-year contract just hours before the team's home opener against the San Antonio Spurs.
