Michael Busch drove in two runs as Chicago improved to 4-2 on an eight-game homestand. Ian Happ had two hits, and Owen Caissie contributed a bloop RBI single.
By taking both games Tuesday, Chicago moved within seven games of the NL Central-leading Brewers, who led early in the second game before dropping to 55-15 when they score first.
Brandon Woodruff (4-0, 2.06) starts for the Brewers and will be countered by Cubs right-hander Jameson Taillon (7-6, 4.44). The Cubs won Game 1, 6-4.
