Despite a cease-fire between Hezbollah and Israel, the IDF targeted Beirut, Lebanon, with airstrikes Sunday while also killing at least dozens of Palestinians with strikes in Gaza as the war continues.

Israel struck south Beirut on Sunday for the third time since a fragile ceasefire was implemented on Nov. 27 last year, prompting Lebanese President Joseph Aoun to call on its guarantors France and the US to force a halt.

A huge plume of smoke billowed over the area after the strike, which hit what looked like a metal tent situated between two buildings, according to an Associated Press photographer on the ground.
