The Atlanta Falcons have a lot riding on second-year quarterback Michael Penix Jr., and Charles McDonald of Yahoo Sports likes what he sees.

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons will feature in five primetime games during the 2025 NFL season, league sources told 11Alive's Maria Martin on Wednesday. The news comes as the NFL will unveil its full 2025 league schedule later on Wednesday night .

Well, the Falcons are going to Germany at least. The team confirmed Tuesday morning, in advance of the NFL schedule release extravaganza coming our way on Wednesday, that the Falcons will face the Colts in Munich, Germany, on Nov. 9, 2025, Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season.

According to WSB-TV's Zach Klein, the Falcons have four primetime games on their 2025 schedule: Sunday Night Football road games against the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers, and Monday Night Football home games against the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams.

Penix was impressive, but his limited body of work landed him lower on the list than some of the other quarterbacks from his draft class. Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was ranked No. 1, Bears QB Caleb Williams was ranked sixth, and Bo Nix of the Broncos landed at No. 7.
