EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Novipax, a leading absorbent manufacturer for the fresh protein, produce, food service and healthcare markets, is opening a new manufacturing facility in the region.

Novipax also announced that it will be discontinuing operations at its current La Verne, California, facility. These operations are planned to be moved to El Paso by June 2023.

Novipax will supply EPS trays and absorbent pads to companies that package meat, poultry and seafood. Sealed Air said the businesses were not a core strategic division.
