Photo mode is something that’s become more and more common in games over the past couple of years. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, of course, wasn’t going to miss out.
Photo Mode gives you a 360 camera movement, allowing you to grab screenshots from any angle you prefer. You can move and rotate the camera and adjust the distance using your joy-cons/mouse.
Photo mode is just the photographic end of things. Instead of having to go out and shoot something with a camera, users can create beautiful images using video games.
Source: Bethesda Softworks To use photo mode in Starfield, open your scanner (LB on Xbox controller, F on keyboard). From here, you can enter photo mode (RS on Xbox controller, V on keyboard).
Players can activate Photo Mode in Assassin’s Creed just about any point through gameplay by pressing F3 on the keyboard, or by pressing both joysticks in on the controller.

The photo mode of Dead Rising 4 isn’t fancy or sophisticated; Frank West can use his camera to find secrets or snap pictures of his surroundings, but there’s not a lot of room for technique.
Outside of the photo mode, you always have the option to take screenshots as well. On Steam, clicking “F12” will take a screenshot of the game you’re playing and place it in a folder.
Considering Fallout 76 has a photo mode it probably wouldn’t be that hard to retrofit something similar into Skyrim, but I won’t hold my breath for Bethesda to add one. It’d be nice, though!
