Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami teammates arrived in Kansas City on Wednesday all bundled up in ski hats and parkas and were set to take on Sporting KC at 8 p.m. in their Concacaf Champions Cup opener at Children’s Mercy Park.

Inter Miami kicked off their Concacaf Champions Cup campaign against Sporting Kansas City on the road picking up the victory on the night.

With temperatures hovering near zero, Wednesday’s soccer game between Sporting KC and Inter Miami at Children’s Mercy Park will go down as one of the coldest ever played.
