On another holiday weekend a decade ago, McComb and his family were vacationing in Wimberley when torrential rain forced the Blanco River to swell, carrying the home they were in downstream. McComb made it to shore, but his wife and children didn't survive. He said his daughter, Leighton, was never found.

Jonathan McComb was the sole family member to survive a Texas flooding in 2015. Now, he's in Kerrville searching for victims in from the latest flooding.
