House Republican leaders hope President Donald Trump can be the party’s closer to get the budget reconciliation bill across the finish line.

The House convened Wednesday to take up President Trump's Senate-passed massive domestic policy bill, with Republicans aiming to approve the final version of the legislation ahead of a July 4 deadline to get the bill to the president's desk.

An amendment to the bill which passed the Senate on Tuesday could drastically reduce the ability of gamblers to turn a profit.
