The UIDAI asked OVSEs to verify Aadhaar via the QR Code present on all four forms of Aadhaar (Aadhaar letter, e-Aadhaar, m-Aadhaar, and Aadhaar PVC card) instead of accepting Aadhar in physical form.
“The QR code scanner is freely available for both Android and iOS based mobile phones, as well as [W]indow [s]-based applications,” said UIDAI.
The new Aadhaar app features QR code-based instant verification and real-time face ID for authentication.
