Draymond Green had a brief but meaningful response to Washington Wizards star Jordan Poole's Golden State Warriors comment.
After winning their fourth championship in eight years, the Golden State Warriors were confident in running it back for a shot at another. The Warriors ultimately lost in the second round the following year, and rising star Jordan Poole was traded to the Washington Wizards in exchange for veteran point guard Chris Paul.
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr wants “nothing but the best” for former Warriors guard Jordan Poole. But that doesn’t mean he laments the trade that sent him 18 months ago to the Washington Wizards.

Green has apologized to Poole — and, as he mentioned, his parents — multiple times before this instance and has taken responsibility. Yet he admitted he feels “kind of in between on certain days” when reflecting on what went down. “You can’t call a man a b-word and push him and not get hit, either,” Green said on the podcast.
Draymond Green and Jordan Poole faced off as the Golden State Warriors took on the Washington Wizards. It was the second time the teams went up against each other this season.
