PUERTO RICO – A 74-year-long mystery has finally come to a close in Puerto Rico, as officials have discovered a lost Pan Am airliner that crashed, known as the Good Friday Tragedy.

The wreckage from a Pan Am plane crash in the ocean 74 years ago that helped lead to requirements for the passenger safety briefings on every flight today has been found off the coast of Puerto Rico.

Approximately 2,000 feet underwater, the wreckage site was found by a sonar drone that detected the aircraft’s fuselage last month.
