Syracuse, N.Y. ― One cat died and another is missing after a house fire in Syracuse’s Tipp Hill neighborhood Sunday morning.

Volunteers remain the backbone of the Central and Northern New York Red Cross, responding to fires and disasters across the region to help families in their most difficult moments.
