Higgins caught Burrow's first touchdown pass of the day. It wasn't a perfect day for Burrow, but it was promising nonetheless and the start of one of his best seasons to date. Fast forward three years and it's the beginning of the 2024 season.

Burrow probably turned a few more heads after practice, too, while chatting about his injury with reporters. There, Burrow pointed out that this was an easier injury to come back from than the tricky knee and wrist issues of past years, almost jokingly noting that he’s used to ligament injuries by now.
