A new photo exhibition at the Bronx Documentary Center showcases history-making moments of 2025 from around the world, captured by renowned photojournalists.

The S.F. Chronicle was recognized by both the National Press Photographers Association's Best of Photojournalism contest and the Pictures of the Year International awards.

The top and shortlisted entries from the 10 categories in this year’s contest for professionals were just announced, selected from more than 430,000 submissions.
